School Year 9 and below: Joining a Session

Our open sessions for this age group are currently on Sundays 12:00 – 1:15 pm at South Wirral High School. These are individual skills sessions, focusing on shooting and dribbling with a little passing.

If this works for you, then you sign up using this form: https://group.spond.com/NRPGF to join the Group “Ages 6-14 Skills 2025-26”.

Please create your own identity in Spond first - THEN create one for your child. You should be prompted each time to enter either for yourself as a player or as a parent.

We need the separate parent identity to ask for subs. The first session is free, then it’s £6.00 per session, which we will collect using Spond.

Players should wear sports kit (T-shirt and shorts will do, no tights or track suit bottoms) and bring a drink. We can loan a correct-sized ball for the session.

Parents are encouraged to stay to watch.

No food is allowed in the sports hall at our sessions. This is a condition of our booking and helps us to be allergen-free.

Non-members in year 7 and below are invited to Team training on a Thursday evening at South Wirral High School. Players must become members to play games, but we invite intending members to sample team training before they join. We expect players to commit after 4 or 5 skills sessions.

There are no session charges or game fees for Members.

Beyond the Skills sessions

Under-14s training (years 7, 8 and 9) is on a Monday evening at the Co-op Academy Bebington and is for Members-only. Click here to become a Member.

All games for under-12s and under-14s are at weekends, usually on Sundays. North Wales League games are at a central venue in North Wales. Our Basketball North West Regional League under-14s team plays home & away, so some away games are on Saturdays.
