Basketball and Covid-19
As a club we are driven by a concern for the health and safety of anyone who plays basketball in our sessions. We are following the return to play guidance from both our governing bodies - BasketballEngland and BasketballWales.
We were well ahead of most sports clubs in England when we resumed members-only sessions in July (max. 4 players) and then when we began open sessions with up to 16 players outdoors in mid-August. These have been a great success. However, the school holidays are over, the nights are closing in and the weather will deteriorate. Our "landlords", the schools, have the safety of their pupils as their top priority, so they and the sports centres on Wirral are yet to open. Even when we get indoors, there will probably be numbers restrictions.
That said, we want to encourage new members, wherever we can. So, if you want to try basketball with the Bulldogs, please Email us using the link at the foot of the page.
